CAREER TRANSITION PROGRAMMES
One-to-One Executive and Management Career Transition Programme
Designed for senior executives and managers for whom an individual, person-centered Career Transition Programme is most appropriate. These may be variable in length and intensity to meet individual needs and budgets. The programme may include a transition to semi- or early-retirement for mature managers and/or a move into to self-employed status if required. One-to one programmes include a very high proportion of personal contact with the consultant.
Group Self-Marketing Programmes
Designed for small groups of managers and white collar staff wishing to gain the necessary skills to effect their own career transition and job search. This programme combines group training/tuition in job search techniques with individual consultant support to specific issues. Workshops are held in small groups over 1, 2, or 3 days covering all key elements of Career Transition.
Career Centres
Designed for large groups subject to voluntary or compulsory redundancy. Generally run onsite and manned by qualified consultants, trainers and administrators, tailored to meet the organisation’s specific needs on a flexible basis. Additional facilities may include meetings with DWP personnel to advise on benefits and contacts with local employers to generate job opportunities. Depending on numbers and time-scale, the Career Centre may be open for a specific or variable length of time.
Pre-Retirement Programmes
Designed for individuals or small groups who may be planning retirement following job loss. Individually tailored and delivered (often including partners) dealing with issues such as finance, health and well-being, part-time and voluntary work and developing new interests and leisure activities.
